Practical Teams
We aim to be a blessing to people in our community, and to show something of the love of God in practical ways.
If you would like practical help with something around the home, or know of someone who would, then you may be interested to hear about our Church’s practical teams:
SFC Practicals - help with small one-off jobs around the home - such as moving or fixing a cupboard, or taking a broken item to the tip.
SFC Volunteers - can help with bigger jobs around the home - such as clearing an overgrown garden, or preparing a room for decoration. We typically work on a Saturday in teams of 5-10.
There is no charge for this, although we would ask you to pay for any materials used, such as lawn turf or paint. Cups of tea and cold drinks are always welcome!
If you would like to help out, you would also be very welcome - it is always rewarding and a good way to make new friends.
